LOS SANTOS | Costa Rica
A new initiative for the 24/25 crop, Doña Isa is our first trademark from Costa Rica comprised entirely of coffee grown by women producers. We arranged to purchase cherry from 12 women in the Los Santos region — near our farm Hacienda La Minita — to produce this coffee, paying an additional premium for their participation.
By paying additional premiums directly to these producers, we're supporting sustainable farming practices, vital social projects, and crucial mentorship. This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering women, strengthening our partnerships, and cultivating a brighter future together.
There are two variations of this coffee: Doña Isa Beneficio Rio Negro from producers in Coto Brus and Doña Isa Beneficio Rio Tarrazú from producers in Los Santos.
