Los Lirios de Chirinos

The Asociacion de Mujeres Caficultoras “Los Lirios de Chirinos” is a group of eight women coffee producers in northern Peru who banded together to increase their profits through better quality coffee. The group was started in 2017 by two sisters, Silvia and Nancy Lizana. They are daughters of coffee producers, fourth generation farmers, and country girls at heart.

La Llama

In addition to the Chonti our Quality Assurance team developed a mark called La Llama.   La Llama is a fully washed SHB from the Chanchamayo Valley located in the province of Junin and the region around Chontali This coffee is grown between 1200 to 1400 m and exhibits good acidity, medium body with a very pleasant sweet finish.  La Llama can be certified Rainforest Alliance or Organic.

La Familia Marino

This complex coffee is grown by 15 members of the Marino family living in the Manantial zone, right at the edge of the Chinchiquilla forest, in the most mountainous region of Chirinos in northern Peru. These organic farms are improving the health of their coffee trees by building organic compost fertilizer plants on their farms.  Notes of plum, raisin, almond, tropical fruits, floral, bright acidity.
